Insanely cool and hugely celebrated, the Hilux Surf/4Runner is Toyota's small truck SUV variant. I'm sure as you've already figured out, this is essentially a Japanese Domestic Market import of the 4Runner we know and love. The best part of buying a JDM import is all the little weird options and features that come with said vehicles. Case in point, look at that smol little baby mirror on the fender. It's just cool. This particular Surf is known as Sports Runner and is a 2wd 4-cylinder version. These models received exciting body cladding and other sporty accents. Our Hilux is powered by Toyota's 3RZ-FE engine, which is the same engine found in 95-04 Tacomas. Obviously, that should mean most parts are available here in the states without too much fuss. Keep in mind the recorded mileage is in kilometers, if you do the math, the mileage works out to be 139085 miles which is still somewhat young for this platform.
